LED lighting power driver scheme is considered as a new growth pole of power supply

On the other hand, linear IC, which drives IC companies to shout highly integrated and cost-effective advantages, is becoming more and more popular, in an attempt to encroach on the market of half of the power supply enterprises. LED power supply enterprises are facing the great challenge of survival, small edition goes deep into the industry, and with enterprises to explore the future growth point of the power industry.

Intelligent control system is a new growth pole power supply. It is the core component of intelligent lighting system that receives information instructions to execute control and drive. With the increasing demand for intelligent control, dimming and color adjustment, as well as the rise of high-voltage LED technology, driving control scheme with the whole smart home system is considered as a new growth pole of power supply.

"Not only smart home systems, but also intelligent dimming schemes such as infrared remote control, microwave induction, Bluetooth, WiFi, ZigBee and PLC have been widely used in commercial lighting, shopping malls, hotels and other places." High cost-effective integration is the development trend of LED application products tending to miniaturization, which puts forward stringent requirements for each end of the LED industry chain. At present, the CSP introduced by the chip packaging end has greatly reduced the size of the LED chip, and a number of new materials such as superconducting heat dissipation technology at the heat dissipation end can effectively improve the heat dissipation efficiency per unit area and reduce the volume of lamps. Traditional power supply volume accounts for a large proportion of lighting components. It is urgent to optimize power supply technology to adapt to the trend of miniaturization of the LED. On the other hand, the price-oriented role can not be neglected. On the basis of integration, improving product performance-price ratio is also the focus of R&D. "The integration of high performance-price ratio will also be a development trend of power supply enterprises."

At present, the linear IC led by the LED driver IC manufacturer is also fierce. It meets the requirements of high integration and high cost performance. With the gradual overcoming of the problems such as no stroboscopic, voltage instability and so on, linear IC has been put into market application. Although there are limitations in the application market, the threat of linear IC to power supply enterprises can not be ignored.

But linear IC is not entirely equivalent to "power off". It can become a power module independently or can be designed as a non-power module. Traditional power supply enterprises or co-driven IC enterprises can design solutions to enter this emerging market. "In order to really reduce costs, enterprises can not"sweep the snow in front of their doors", but need more exchanges and integration of products between enterprises to enhance upstream and downstream linkage."

LED industry chain is developing towards integration. Traditional power supply can still occupy most of the application market for the time being, but if it does not conform to the trend and find out the response strategy, it will be eliminated by the intruders at any time.
